Your beloved pet’s life deserves to be honored and memorialized, a moment in time captured on a canvas to be cherished and passed down from generation to generation.
Their stories of loyalty and tenderness live on, and I want to create a heirloom that magnifies their immense value in your life. My affinity for exploring the outdoors with animals is at the forefront of my work, and I hope that it inspires you to step into the vastness of nature with your best friend by your side. My hope is that your pet’s portrait evokes a deep sense of connection and joy, a timeless work of art that captures the enduring bond between you both. Let’s work together!

An oil painting of your pet captures their essence in a traditional, timeless style. All paintings are completed on quality linen panels with professional grade oil paint that will stand the test of time. Your portrait is done with the utmost care and attention to detail, producing an end result of a classic, textured, simple rendition.

Once I have a few photos that we love, I can get started painting in the studio. An oil portrait takes two weeks for me to paint and two more weeks to fully dry before I send it to your home. A high quality varnish is applied after completion to preserve your portrait for decades to come.

The Portrait Process
-
The Reference Photo
It all begins with a beautiful reference photograph. I would recommend taking three to four photos, each from a different angle. My favorite pose to paint is a full body side profile. Natural sunlight outdoors is the perfect lighting for a portrait photo, so enjoy a little photo shoot outside with you pet in their favorite spot! And if you’re local here in Knoxville, Tennessee then I would love to schedule a complimentary photoshoot with you!
A second photo of you and your pup’s favorite landscape for the background can also be provided, I would love to place your pet in a naturalistic, beautiful scene in nature that you both love.
